SC Mentioned In Austin Chronicle

The Austin Chronicle's James Renovitch has an interesting blog post today about viral marketing for indie developers. We were excited to see the one and only Lonny Watershed as the photo for the post, as well as some nice things to say about the SC.

We agree with that "The Splode Beneath My Splosion" can hardly be considered viral with only 11,000 views (we think 1,184,692 views is more like it). And that's cool. Where we find real bliss is having pure freedom to write the silly song we wanted to write, make the video we wanted to make, and have that become an official part of the game marketing. That takes guts -- Twisted Pixel- brand indie guts, to be specific.

And who knows, with TSBMS coming to Rock Band Network soon Lonny Watershed may be invited to perform live at game conferences, after parties, bar mitzvahs, even subway stations. I hear he's available.
